How about not booking an event for a Friday?

How am I supposed to watch everyone drive if I'm going to be at work all day?

Poor event planning!

A day off of work by then will be well deserved
Vacation time is slim pickins and I wouldn't need to take PTO if these events weren't on weekdays!!
