Yeah I completely understand, somebody could sign up for advanced and keep up but be dangerous to pass or be passed by because they have no spatial awareness or are just uncomfortable with passing.

Yup, there's also the otherside of knowing when not to pass someone when they're not ready to assuming you can't pass safely without them giving up a bit.

It's just being aware is all and as always it takes two to tango

Still want to try to make it to this. Hmmmm..

The CityTech event I attended at Laguna had an excellent high-intermediate group. Run no differently than an advanced group really. I had no issues with traffic or any of the drivers. Anyone in a slower car would leave openings in logical areas of the track, doing their best not to spoil anyone's lap. And the guys the run the event should be more than willing to move you to a different group if you aren't happy.

I have the reimbursement program thing from NCRC going for me so Buttonwillow only costs me $49 and T Hill is only $85
