One of the advantages of a Contour and using the live preview mode is you can see if the metering is "spot on". Hehe.
Hero 3 has that
Cool. Glad they finally added that ability. Very handy.

It's actually pretty cool, here's a screenshot while recording.

Haha. My car will probably only ever get about .5" or so lower so hopefully it will survive it. Luckily I have plenty more track events i need to attend before that will happen though. Especially with all the research I have been doing on those expensive fancy pants Ohlins TTX.

It's not a height issue, it's an articulation issue

Why only a half inch?

Because Page Mill, Stage, 236, Skyline south, Jameson Creek, Alma Bridge, Soda Springs, so on and so forth. Any more and I don't think there is anyway I could drive most of these without issues even with a stiffer spring rate. We'll see though, maybe I will be able to go lower.

Possibly over thinking things. Lots of travel is really only needed with poor dampers or really soft roll rates. I love Jamison and honestly think my car is better now then when it was on stock dampers. My experience on stock dampers and bumpy roads is that they don't hold up and end up getting too hot and damping goes away. Maybe it's the extra weight lol

It is already fairly easy to scrape the bottom of the front bumper even at the stock height on many of these roads. I have the AP2 front lip I guess that makes a bit of a difference, so that is really the concern I guess not the amount of travel. And I plan to move to an Amuse R1 front eventually. Definitely no issues of bottoming out or any issues with the dampers from what I can tell even on the extra bumpy stuff.

San Juan Canyon Rd if you're ever in the mood to experience bumpy.

Soda springs sounds familiar, I think I may have been on it once.
