Here's mine, I think I saw you in the last few laps of the session, not sure tho cause there were so many S2's.

Which GoPro? Hero2?
If so record in 720P at 60fps and choose spot for metering. Right now it's trying to average a whole lotta interior due to the wide field of view.
Sebring with a CR wing or something similar?

Yes Hero2. I'll try that next time! It's just that the spot metering is hit or miss unless I have the camera pointing exactly out the center of windshield.

And yes, Sebring AP1 with CR wing and lip.

You should always use spot metering anytime the camera is used in a car cockpit. No reason to use 60fps unless you plan on doing slow-mo stuff later on. 1080p Wide will usually look the sharpest coming out of the Hero 2, because it is the most native format for the camera. 720 is quite a bit softer due to the way the camera creates 720p images. 1080p30 Wide or Medium with spot metering turned on should give good results.

Nice driving! Sad I missed all that off camber, no run-off goodness. That GoPro makes your car sound like an angry hi-revving chewbacca.
Thanks man, yeah it was a really fun. That track definitely keeps you focused! Im trying to figure out how to stop the camera from having a seizure and why my car sounds so funny on camera lol
If you are using the modifry mount it is tough to get good sound right out of the camera because of the glove box below it (a big open space). I use an external audio recorder (in the cargo net) and sync it up later in post. Doing a bit of sound deadening on the secret compartment/glove box lid might help quite a bit too though. I was planning to get some little rubber stoppers to help keep the lower glove box lid more secure. Some rubber underneath the modifry mount, where the quickclip is, should help too.

I have these perfect little adhesive rubber stoppers I've been meaning to give you. They came with a picturing hanging tool kit for putting on the back of frames.

I did the same thing. Didn't put my Gopro on Spot. I tried reducing the exposure and this is the best I can do with the limited editing software I have.

Nate, too bad I didn't have the camera on for that one!

BTW I removed the 's' from 'https:' and was able to get the Vimeo to embed on here.

One of the advantages of a Contour and using the live preview mode is you can see if the metering is "spot on". Hehe.
