Ariel, what kind of silencer do you have? I'll be interested to know. The berk exhaust register about 100 to 102 db depending on the weather.

Laguna Seca will be expensive, period. The track rental and car restriction is costly. Limited available days also make the event at Laguna highly desirable.

I use this type of silencer. I cuts down noise a lot but I've been told its still loud.
Also I drilled like 10 holes in the stainless steel tube part to help a little with exhaust flow

FWIW, an elbow pointed in the right direction usually cut 2-3 db. With addition of the silencer, it might just be ok. Not sure.

I have FIPK, Berk with hfc and I used those eBay silencer (cost ~$10) at laguna and passed sound check WOT no lift no short shift, but definitely feel the car less responsive and maybe less power?? That should be the easiest way to passed sound at Laguna with Berk exhaust. I also bought a 90 degree elbow pipe just in case but didn't use it cox I don't wanna damage the tip....
Without silencer I got flagged once at 103.X cox I open throttle too soon trying to catch the car in front....ended up no fun...

Anyone want to caravan from SF? We could probably also get folks who live further north to join in.

Will you be taking 101/152 or 101/880/17?

I'll probably setup a meet spot in S. San Jose

I need to get on the computer and update this thread lol

No preference really. I can head down to the meet spot and tag along. I presume there aren't many people in SF going anywho.

Update away!
