What should be done to the stock brake system before running at laguna? Can I just change the brake fluid and get some racing pads?

Yup! ATE Blue or ATE 200 are common choices for fluid and available on Amazon. 1 can is plenty for a full flush. For pads, Carbotech, Cobalt, or Performance Friction are common. I got my last couple sets of Carbotech XP10's from 949racing, and they have quick shipping and good service, plus they sell the pre-bed pads that have more pad material and are ready to rock right out of the box.

If it is your first track day, you will probably be ok on stock pads and racing fluid.

I've haven't driven Laguna yet but I have been on ride alongs and it seems MUCH more demanding on your brakes than Infineon/Sonoma. You can get away with stock pads @ Infineon/Sonoma but I can't imagine doing so at Laguna.
