Edit: Forgot to mention I was #38. In that link, you passed me after the corkscrew around 8:00-9:00. I don't know why I looked so slow, it didn't feel that slow in my car!

Hello fellas, I went to the event to check it out as a spectator (by that red bull building) and after hearing the sound of the cars zooming by I was sold, although it looks a bit intimidating. What are the requirements to sign up? I have a nearly stock ap1 with the exception of an Intake and exhaust. Is there a separate time for beginners/ first timers? Thanks in advance!

I am always amazed watching the video of my quickest lap of the day seeing where I lost some time. I think high 1:47 is definitely possible with my current setup. I know there was a S2K challenge Stock Class car that did a high 1:46 but I believe he was using a square setup with stock suspension.
I think that day was probably the most fun I have had at the track. Lots of fun mini battles, and I finally figured out how to deal with the turn 9 entry correctly.

Man, at 1:53 I'm way behind the pace, considering I have suspension. I need to study the lines better, I think. Matching tires would be nice, of course. Oh, and I should try growing a pair!
I had an absolute blast, though. My favorite track day yet, and getting more confident with a little slip angle here and there.

Don't feel bad, my best that day was 1:54X. But yea, it was a really fun day. Once I feel more confident with the car I'll start pushing harder. I'm in no hurry, as long as I'm having fun!
