Hey guys.
This Christmas I'm planning on putting together a care package for the homeless man who lives behind where I work.
If you guys want to do the same (something I highly suggest) I'll post a good list of things you can give. Let's revive compassion and hope in the human race.
If you give the package to a shelter or organization, keep receipts on everything you bought. This is considered charitable work and will be tax deductible.
Good Christmas Care Package Items:
• Socks
• Toilet Paper
• Toothbrush / toothpaste
• Individual anti-bacterial wipes
• Hand lotion
• Chap stick
• Fast food gift certificate
• Granola bars
• Bottle of water
• Poncho
• Resource guide (homemade or more official)
• Gloves
• Hat
• Fruit Cups
• Crackers
• Nuts and Dried Fruit
• Jerky
• Flashlight
• Hand warmer
• Cough Drops
Use backpacks. The care package items can be placed in a backpack. This is a functional item someone living on the streets can use repeatedly.
I hope you guys will join me in making life a little easier and warmer for those who need it.

But if you guys want to drop things off at my house I'll put it all into care boxes/bags and Casey and I will hunt down some homeless individuals and make their Christmas a little merrier.

Aww this is so thoughtful! And that's a great list. I've only ever given bottles of water and Oreo cakesters to the homeless people I encounter on the way to school and work. Thanks for sharing, Drisana ![thumbsup.gif](https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
