I think we should have this thread to protect all our s2k folks. We should watch out for each other. So hopefullly everyone will start posting HERE when you see local police / CHP hidden at night or daytime somewhere this Bay Area. Please provide detailed info.

Last Sat. 5/17 night at Cuputino when I came down from Foothill Exp. left to Steve Creek downhill before 85 HWY. There is always a cop sitting at downhill hidden no light; Speed Limit 35 only. It before uphill to 85 HWY around 12am. I think he ususally sit here for someone after sunset. Please watch out.

In Newark/Fremont off of Mowry heading West. Parking lot on the right side, right when you come down off the over pass. The lot where Rasputin's, Circuit City, Petsmart, 76 gas station is. Always see cops there late at nite/early morning just posting there waiting.

Milpitas:

Calaveras/237, West and East bound. Just don't speed, period.

Landess Ave, From Piedmont rd down to 680. don't speed. cops always sit there with their gun (radar) pointed at cars, and you can't see them. (They are on bikes, hiding)

Piedmont Rd, on Milpitas side. At the bottom of the hill, bike cops there.

Evans Rd, cops always there before you get to Calaveras.

Calaveras going up to the hills by Spring Valley Golf Course. Bike cop, gunning people flying down the hill.

Dixon, right where Californa Circle intersects. bike cop at the apartments.

Yes, I have seen all of these in a 2 to 3 day period.

 

Santa Clara:

On Mission College Blvd on the way to AMC Mercado 20 from Great America Parkway. During daytime business, a cop always sits across the Church hidden under the tree (shade) Only 30MPH... Don't speed over there, he uses laser gun...

 

Friday night 880 West just North of San Jose. Motorcycle radar cop sitting at an opening in the divider in the dark under an overpass. Almost impossible to see.

 

Kato Road, Fremont, where it is parallel to 880. Motorcycle cops with radar, 2-3 times per week, usually in the afternoon.

 

I'm not sure how many North Bay S owners there are, but if you're reading this, beware of the CHP motorcycle cops sitting under the Sir Francis Drake overpass. As soon as you get off the Richmond-San Rafael bridge (West- then Northbound), you'll pass under it about 1/2 mile. The cops sit there waiting behind the wall. It's a perfect set-up because they are invisible, and by the time you pass them, it's over. Lights-a-flashin.

When I'm going eastbound, I look over the freeway at them and laugh. Coming home, I always slow down before the overpass. Foiled again!

Santa Clara:

Motorcycle Cops always sits under tree off the driveway during business hours. If you drive around there, please pay attention.
