That's a good idea. I've not found any connection between bad driving and speed. Plus enforcing this would be a nightmare. I like the idea of forcing kids to get graduated licensing. Many other countries have this.

I suspect we have another problem though and that is speeding tickets are the best to write. They are the big ticket items that keep officers employed. People driving 65 in the passing lane should get tickets. As should all the other laws, like running with night time lights in the rain and not talking on the phone. All these laws never get enforced.

That all said, I have to tell you the driving it just bad in major cities in California. Get out of the Bay/LA Area and driving improves considerably. Go to OR/AZ/NV for a day and people drive the way they should. Not sure what to draw from this. Got any ideas?
