Menlo doesnt have loaners. You might try to ask. They gave me a rental for TSB work before.

I was invited to this dealer car auction in tracy.

That particular day, we were allowed to drive the cars around their Huuuuuuuge lot......I found myself a nice 2002 S55 AMG - it had 20k miles on it black on black (how this car should be.....!!!)

I tooled around in it for a while, the thing sounds like a beast when the engine starts. Very nice sound.

Point being....if the driver can handle this sedan's somewhat massive length (compared to a little s2k)......well, this mercedes can certainly handle it's own.....among other things.....

I had to fight with them to get a loaner when I had my car in there for warantee paint work last month... but I did get one. I think in general those guys, maybe just whatshisname, isn't very good at setting expectations.

Funny, cuz I just got a call from Honda today to ask how my trip to Menlo went.... I went off a little bit.

If your getting warranty work done, they should give you a loaner.
The warranty pays for the loaner not the dealership.
