hmm... which HKS does it sound like? I was told mine was ok... but I DID get a fix-it ticket for no front plate.
My exhaust w/ silencer does not sound like an HKS, but approximately the same level of loudness in terms of db. Perhaps a little louder in the lower rpms.

Not to be sexist or racist or anything like that, but I wouldn't worry all that much about fix it tickets if I was a girl or white. Just my experience.

Christine's fix it ticket must be an isolated incident... the cops must have been trying to get info on Christine so he/she could stock her later.

My friend recently got one for his intake. A ridiculous filter.

Why is a filter considered to be illegal? It leans out the fuel mixture and improves gas mileage. I don't get it.

Mokie yes I will be there! I put the front plate on so I could get the fix-it ticket signed off... my car looks like it has buck teeth! LOL

lol Berlina... I also got a ticket for speeding from that same cop. I guess he figured he was already dinging me for enough things to worry about my exhaust.

T1R 70R, but with the silencer in, it's probably as loud as an HKS
Jeez, I guess it was a good idea that I just took my HKS off...but there goes my plan of getting the T1R 70

Yea, I think cops that are actually looking to give out fix it tickets are isolated in san jose for now. I will now avoid driving on capital expressway. I think it would even be better just not to drive a modded car at night. I guess I'll be driving the beater at night from now on
i told you david..damn capital expwy!
