happened to me 2yrs ago. filed a claim and paid the deductible. aaa covered the rest. if you need a shop check out sunny auto body on potrero hill - denny used to be a forum member, not sure about now, but he's an awesome guy and will take care of you.

as others have said, garage it after, or it'll be deja vu.

It's covered under comprehensive/vandalism. It's not a collision claim.

i think i've read in threads that people who are in your situation have had the insurance Co supply them with OEM seats that have been refurbished since the cost of new seats is so expensive. hopefully you have a good company and claims adjustor.

your insurance will NOT go up, my seats were stolen about half a year ago, and the f****r also keyed my car and broke my window, i made a claim and insurance took car of the rest, i brought my car to my friend and everything was fixed and i got refurbished seats, go to Chow's Automotive and talk to kevin, he'll take care of everything for you

where in the sunset? cross streets? i visit my mom a lot in the sunset and park on the street. i get paranoid as hell and check my car every 5 minutes when i park outsid in san francisco... this paranoia stems from my car being vandalized twice in one year... so i feel your pain.

imo...let insurance handle it. its less of a headache.
