Default Car help needed!

I am having probem with my 2000 Civic. This morning when I get to work the front signal and tail light won't turn off even after I turn off the headlight and the ignition. What can cause this to happen? Need help fast, I don't want to unplug my battery every time I turn off the car.

You can unplug the fuse for the headlight... Saves your radio presets...

Could be a bad headlight switch that leaves the marker lights on.

I had this problem with a late-model Subaru, and it turned out that Subarus have an extra switch that only turns on the parking lights. It's on top of the steering column.

+1 ...no need for a new one if you find a used one. I'm sure there are plenty of civics to find out there.
