Can someone help me move in? Aug 26th or 27th
Hi There.
So, no doubt you've seen my ramblings all over the board about where to move to etc. Well I've finally made my FINAL decision, and am moving to the Fremont area.
Long story short, to save on shipping a car and movers, I'm getting a Uhaul and hauling my belongings and trailering the S all the way to Fremont from Chicago.
The problem is it'll be just me when I get there. I MIGHT have a friend come out with me, but he's not sure if he can yet.
So I am asking the wonderful Bay Area S2ki community if there is anyone willing to help me out and move some stuff into my apartment once I get there. Really the only things I will need help with are my 3 person sofa and my dining room table. The rest would just be boxes that I could do on my own, but wouldn't refuse the help if you're willing!
You would definitely get my many thanks and some food and beers afterwards!

I'm moving into the Estates at Park Place on Stevenson. Right by Fremont Park.
Yea originally I was going to ship my stuff out there(minus furniture) using cheap freight, but my "hookup" didn't work out. And since it'd cost $900 to ship the S anyhow, thought I'd might as well make the drive. I would have had to buy all new furniture too, which I wasn't looking forward to doing.
There is a first for everything. I would much rather make the Drive in the S, but oh well.

Thanks to all for the offer of help thus far. I'm most gracious. In terms of route, I didn't plan that yet. I've got a NUVI 350, so I'll be more or less following whatever route it deems quickest. Are there specific routes that are better?
I have a feeling I will be arriving in Fremont on Monday. Also because the apt office closes by 5 Pm on Sunday, I wouldn't even be able to get in. Most likely I will be arriving early afternoon on Monday.
