Default can i lower the car with 245 40 17 in rear

Im planning to lower my s2k will it rub with 245 40 17 in rears and 225 on fronts?

Depending on offsets, sure Stock AP2 wheels come with 245s in the back and 215s up front unless you get a CR which increases both by 10mm. Post up offsets and that would help. Also how low you are planning to go. People who slammed their cars with stock wheels have been known to need fender work : p

Actually its only the rear that went to a 255. The front is still 215.

Isn't that the stock ap2 oem tire size? Excluding the 225 front


I ran that on my CR Kais which were 17x8 +48 and 17x9 +44 and they rubbed pretty bad. You'll need to roll/relocate your rear bumper tabs and roll the fronts out pretty far.

Lol I run 275's in the rear on my non oem rims, about an 1"+ lower. It's all about offset and camber.
