Hi Guys,
With concern about my eyes getting worse after the first procedure, I would like to get a second opinion from a different doctor.
anyone?

got mine from Dr. Scott Hyver in San Jose. he did the Lasik for my aunt, uncle, and everybody in their office. absolutely top notch professional. I was totally calm going into the surgery because I watched them closely during the evaluations and such, and they are very thorough. I've had my LASIK for 1.5 yrs now, and I have 20/15 vision (which is better than 20/20). Considering I started with 20/200 + an astigmatism, I am thrilled with the results.
PM me if you decide to go with them.

I too had mine done with Scott Hyver about 4-5 years ago... started with -2 and ended up with 20/15 in both eyes... just did an eye exam and it's stable at 20/20.
He was with Aris Vision when I had it done, not sure if he's still with the same company. Good doctor, turned down patients when favorable results weren't achievable.

I'd do a little more research on Lasik or any other *surgical* procedure before having it done. Still no long term studies on Lasik. Most folks do quite well - but we're talking about your vision!!!
There are new contact lens technologies available - either super breathable lenses that are safe for most people to wear continuously or another non-surgical option commonly referred to as Corneal Reshaping Therapy.
