Hey does anybody know information on what happens to your driving record when you get a carpool ticket? How many points on record? Fine Paid (I heard it's a grip)? Any one had experience with it?

I know I shouldnt be in there .. at least the officer didnt write me down for going 90 in it

i got a ticket going in the carpool lane about a year ago..i was fined about $300 bucks. i went to court, told the judge what happened..he drop'd the fine down to $181 and from what i remember, you DONT get any points on for driving in the carpool lane.

Like they said, it's not a moving violation. More like a parking ticket if anything. An expensive parking ticket.

dude, it's only money, you drove in the carpool lane, pay up. no sympathy.

It's no points so it's really no big deal.
