So I'm half done smoothing out my calipers and getting them ready to paint...
But it's supposed to rain the next week?!?!?
My S is up on stands in my driveway.... which isn't a huge deal since I have my prelude to drive around.
My question - for everyone here that knows more about cars than I do - Do I leave it on on blocks and just put bags over the the whole caliper/disc.... or do I put my wheels back on and drive my car for the next week and try again next week when the weather gets better...
My only concern with driving is that since I was smoothing them down is that I don't know if I have to worry about them rusting while driving in the rain this next week. They're aluminum right?
Here's how they look now. Basically all the dull exterior is gone, and I'm not sure if that would be an issue.
John...since you have a second car and I'm guessing that the S is in a garage, you should be ok w/o any bags over your calipers. But putting bags over your calipers is not a bad idea.
