Changed mine at 27k miles and it was all black. Now that I got 50k miles I think its time to change it again.

I changed my cabin filter at 53K miles and it was black with lots of debris. The procedure that can be found here on S2Ki for changing the cabin filter was very useful. I really liked the suggestion of one member to use a 5mm socket to push out the pins holding the rubber seal above the firewall. It made everything a snap!

I even sprayed a bit of my wife's favorite perfume on the new filter. It doesn't last long, but it works.

I think since the location of our pollen filter its going to get dirty even quicker then most other hondas that are located in the dash behind the glove box. i changed mine a 15k and it was already filthy

Mine was a mess, too at 60k. Am I the only one that thinks a cabin air filter on a convertible is strange? As much as I like it, it seems like safety glasses with only one lens to me...

Is the cabin air filter even used if you are always on re-circulate mode? I recently looked at mine, which has been in the car 2+ years, and it didn't look too bad.

try taking the filter out and blowing your fan at high mode. (i did this and what you'll see is tons of little debris and particles coming in)

No. If the storm outside doesn't have a name on it, the top is down.
