Buying an accident car for your loved son to save some money sounds like bad judgement. Get your son a safe car and remember, the person selling the car is going to say anything to get the deal done - most of the time.

Good deals can be found that are still safe.

Knowing it's salvaged, I think you would be worried for your son; I mean like all the others have said, even if it's a bit more money, it will offer you a much more peace of mind to get a clean titled one instead.

Thanks for all the input guys. I found out this person has been selling cars for years now and has a lot of validity. However my wife and I talked about it and would rather buy a clean title than worry for our son. We found a '03 for around the same price and miles in Concord. We want to buy it soon before our son comes home for the break. Thanks again everyone.

also take note there are 2 different models of s2000's AP1 2000-2003 and AP2 2004-2009
there will be a noticeable price jump from 03-04
00-01 have plastic soft top window, 02+ has glass soft top window
06+ has traction control

Nice! 03 will have a glass soft top if its still the OEM one included with the car when 1st purchased.
