Default Business Broadband ISP in Pleasanton?

Greetings,

We have a client in Pleasanton who's asked us to look into options for their internet service. Being in Las Vegas it's a little hard for us to get the lay of the land from out here.

They currently have AT&T DSL but they're not satisfied with them for a variety of reasons. I believe Comcast services their area but I'm wondering if there are any other choices I should be aware of?

Thanks in advance

J.P.

Why are they dissatified with AT&T? Are they looking to stay with low price/QOS services such as DSL and Cable? What is their budget?

They have AT&T DSL now along with a point to point T1 from Telepacific between sites. We can only get 512-768 upload from the DSL and that's not cutting it for their needs. There are also apparently customer support issues with AT&T that they're complaining about; I can speak to those as we've been indirectly involved with trying to resolve them.

Ideally we'd like to get them onto a 2 or 3 mb symmetrical connection but if it's asymmetrical then it needs to be 2 mbps upload at a minimum. Low QOS like cable is fine. Figure a few hundred dollars a month for a budget. If it's at all possible we'd like to get the same provider at their Livermore location as well.
