Default Broomstick Test NCRC

I want to get started going to track days with my S2K. NCRC seems like one of the more promising local clubs for an SF resident and seem to offer the best value in event cost/track time at least from my initial research. However, they are very strict about safety (not a bad thing!) and there is no way I can pass their required broomstick test in my bone stock AP1. So what I'm looking for is some input from perhaps some local NCRC S2000 racers to see how they passed the broomstick test. I'm 6'-0" so I fear that just a roll bar or just a new seat and rails won't cut it. So any one on here also about 6' and able to pass the broomstick test? And if so, do you have a list of your modifications you did to achieve it?

i'm 5'10" with a bride vios iii seat, bride rails, and a hard dog roll bar. passing with stock hoops seems impossible once you put on a helmet.

but at my last ncrc event, i saw s2000's that didn't pass broomstick. not saying that it's a good thing, though

Aftermarket Seats + Rails work welll. You can also try using aftermarket lowering rails for the stock seat. If all else fails, roll bar.

NCRC has a safety reimbursement program available: Reimbursement Doc

I'm 5' 11" and I've sat in a couple of cars with seats and roll bars and I still don't pass.

At your height, I think it makes a big difference if your torso is long or short for your height.

Is there a good chance they won't let your car on the track if you do not pass the broom stick test? I'm 5'9" and I do not want to change / modify anything on my car and I have a NASA event coming up soon.

I know safety is most important, but since it's my first HPDE event (in the beginner class), I was wondering if I could just go with my stock S2000?

I've also seen S2ks run w/ NCRC that didn't pass the broomstick test post enforcement announcement.
I've also been met at the entry of the hot pit and had the broomstick put over my head.

They are definitely spot checking...
