Well, like I said, make sure you get plenty of nutrients for the few days before you do donate, and make sure you're getting plenty of sleep for the three days previous. Go in knowing you're going to help someone with your donation, and have at it!^^
Edit: Oh, yeah, and obviously plenty of nutrients afterwards too.
