Blew My Motor need you guys help
My motor had that #4 cylinder problem and last week my motor finally gave out. Now I need some help finding a shop that will fix it for me. I've been to a few shop and they said they will pull it out and then send it to a machine shop to have the work done. I would rather have a shop do all of this in one place if its possible. If anybody know somebody that might can can me out that would be hella cool. And once I get my car fixed I can take you to like D&Bs or something and you can get SHITFACED on ME (dont help me if your an alchie, cause I'll probaly cant afford the tab). Alright thanks

If it is a #4 cylinder problem why not just take it to the dealer? As long as it's not a over-rev they should take care of it if you are still under warranty.

over reving has nothing to do with that #4 cylinder.
Comptech will charge somewhere around mid to high $3K.
Don't quote me on that, but let's just say I know someone who paid around that much.

Thanks everybody for replying. I found a shop that will rebuild for $2800. Comptechs price doesn't seem that bad but the problem is getting my car all the way out there. Anyways I might try selling the car as is to whoever wants to fix it themselves. You think 13K - 14K is reasonable with a salvaged title? Well we'll see, thanks for all the info.
