Default BlackTrax Valve adjustment DIY day

Thanks to Jei, Nat & Aki for all the hard work and taking the time to teach us. I don't know of any shops that will go out of their way to teach people how adjust valves let alone an oil change.

Thanks to Rob (aka rbo, rob2) for the wonderful idea

BlackTrax Valve Adjustment Day
9am SHARP

Jei from BlackTrax will give a demonstration on an F20/22C valve adjustment and offer those interested to practice on a spare motor before attempting to work on their own. Duration (30min-1hr)

Those doing their own valve adjustment need to arrive by 9am sharp to attend the demonstration. This allows the cars to cool down for about an hour or so before we start working on them. Bring your own tools to perform your own adjustments. BT will provide two tables (two cars on each side = 4 cars), gloves, rags, coffee, donuts and maybe if you talk them into it, they might let you borrow a tool here or there...maybe....

For those who are interested in having BT perform the valve adjustments, the car must cool down at least 1hr before being worked on. It’s highly recommended that you also arrive at 9am. This will be first come first serve in a sign up list order.

For those who want to guarantee a gasket is waiting for them please send $26 to blacktrax@blacktrax.net be sure to include your SN. Once payment is sent I will add Gasket confirmed next to your name.

Tools required:

- 3/8" drive, socket wrench

-3/8" drive torque wrench

- 10mm socket

- 5/8" spark plug socket

- 3" extension

- 8" extension

First come first served just don't show up too late. I'd say no later than 11am but Jei might say later or earlier.

Put me down on the Blacktrax valve adjustment list. I'm also in to learn how to do a valve adjustment. Where/when do I pay?
