just got back from the Gilroy Outlets....."Premium" my a$#!? i should've known better. that place never really has anything good, but, shame on me for succombing to the hype & lure of bargain$, bargain$, bargain$.
it was a freaking madhouse.....headed south straight from dinner in Burlingame (pitstop in San Jo for the 9:15pm Casino Royale showing @ the Mercado).....got out at about 12 midnight & made the dash to the outlets. what should've been a 20 min drive took another 1.5 hours cuz it was freaking gridlock the last 5 miles to the exit. everyone was literally crawling along at less than 5 mph the whole way, and DON'T EVEN ASK ABOUT PARKING........EVERY SINGLE FREAKING SPOT IN >>>ALL<<< the lots was full by the time we pulled in.
to top it all off, there were HUGE lines of 1 hour++ long just to get in to the most popular stores....Banana Republic, Gap, & Coach. then you had to deal w/all the knuckleheads and stuff strewn all over inside the shops AND wait in another line to get to the register!? it was like going to a bunch of overpriced garage sales.
i hit a couple spots and just said eff it and left (emptyhanded) my sis and her bf are still there! LOL
oh well, i do more than enough damage the rest of the 36X of the year, so no loss besides a bunch of time & 1/2 tank of gas. at least Casino Royale was pretty good.

Just got home from BB in Emeryville. Got there at 10:30PM and waited for so long. Line got messed up because people fought up front so everyone stood up and ran. I didnt even get a ticket for my labtop... ALL labtops were out. Went to CompUSA next door and got so close to getting a labtop for 549. Then he gave out the last one to some guy right next to me =[.

it was worth a shot, i really wanted a laptop. plus my auntie said that if we got the deal she'd pay for half of mine... what a deal i only pay for 25% the retail price.... too bad it didnt fall thru...
it'd really be helpful when i'm in the college... blech... there goes one more year of being laptop-less

I heard that Monday will be the day for online shopping with similar deals as BF. So no waiting exept for the web server to accept your requests. Not sure why people want to endure BF. You don't really save that much because of the investment in time.

I got up about 4:30 am and the 32" lcd HDTV I wanted at Circuit City was already gone by the time I got there at 5:00 am (when they opened).
But they had a similar one at Fry's... and I was able to snag it for $475!!!
I also got a Sony DVD player w/ HDMI for only $67.
So yeah - it was worth it for me to get up early. I saved myself many hundreds of dollars today~!
