It was fun running into you guys at Nepenthe this morning - hope you all had a great time in my neighborhood! I guess I have to start looking at this board more often!
If anyone from this group wants info on some of our local canyon drives PM me and we can talk. The cyn I mentioned this morning is - in my opinion - the best canyon drive in the state north of Sta Barbara. Another local canyon drive- about a mile north of Nepenthe - ends at one of the most dramatic beaches on the whole coast.
Anyway, wish I could've spent more time but I had an appointment back in Monterey. Next time!

It was a fun drive and lunch. Thanks Mac for organizing and everyone else who came out. Always good to see some old faces and make some new friends.

I had to pass on the ice cream cause it will not satisfy enough. I need some beers to cool down after a whole day in the sun.

It was nice meeting you
I'll definitely pm you about the roads, I did see the sign on the way back for the road you were talking about that dead ends at a park. I'll definitely have to check that one out sometime

Easiest way to keep track of what going on or coming up is to check here https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=774196

Are you going to homecoming II? I usually try and take highway 1 along with some other roads that look like they might be interesting down to socal.
