Big Sur - The aftermath
So here's the rattle I developed after that massive bottom out on the way back. Happens between 4200-4500 RPM. I'm sure my diffuser is amplifying the rattle but damn... I hope nothing is seriously damaged.

In retrospect, I think I tried to take a mild S curve in a straight line. When I hit the first curve the car hopped up and slammed back down on the other side of the curve. I'm too exhausted to have a look under the car.

They're cheap and easy to replace if that's what it is.

Bummer sorry to hear that. Might be something going on with the Cat heat shield or maybe the rear subframe brace bent and rubbing the exhaust? Those rear subframe braces can definitely get bent from a bottom out, but is very cheap and easy to replace.
Ah you have a rear diffuser? Possibly that could be rubbing the exhaust now?
