Default Big Sur - The aftermath

So here's the rattle I developed after that massive bottom out on the way back. Happens between 4200-4500 RPM. I'm sure my diffuser is amplifying the rattle but damn... I hope nothing is seriously damaged.

I would get a look under there and see if you can make anything vibrate

Did that happen on one of the cattle crossings?

In retrospect, I think I tried to take a mild S curve in a straight line. When I hit the first curve the car hopped up and slammed back down on the other side of the curve. I'm too exhausted to have a look under the car.

I would just look at the back of the car and see if the exhaust tips are sitting low, you may have a couple broken exhaust hangers.
They're cheap and easy to replace if that's what it is.

Bummer sorry to hear that. Might be something going on with the Cat heat shield or maybe the rear subframe brace bent and rubbing the exhaust? Those rear subframe braces can definitely get bent from a bottom out, but is very cheap and easy to replace.

Ah you have a rear diffuser? Possibly that could be rubbing the exhaust now?
