LOL sometimes you "kiddies" really need to learn

I already knew this was going to be a problem from the minute it was staged.....this is why i asked earlier in this thread

Let's just say I had inside word that this meet is a big FAIL even before it started. No permits, no license, nothing in a private lot - yea good luck with that. Every LE department knew tonight was their night so for those who went, LOL

No biggie, I was enjoying sushi with my family

I think even everyone without the "inside word" knew that meet would be raided. I also decided not to go. Last thing I need is a trivial tint ticket...

Unfortunately, this is why the car culture here was diminished in NorCal so much. I used to enjoy big meets like this because you could walk around and look at other people's projects and cars, but now we can't hold meets anymore because the police are very responsive to these gatherings. I can't blame them, though. There's always a group of stupid people that ruin the meet for everyone.

I remember a few years ago, they used to have giant meets in Milpitas Square and I'd drive my beat up old car to gawk at the nicer cars. After the cops started breaking everything apart, all that's left is the (well-behaved) S2ki crew. The other crews could learn a thing or two from S2ki.

... I'm moving to SoCal.
