A BIG public THANKS from Xviper.
I wish to take this opportunity to thank the Bay Area folks for the royal treatment you gave me on my recent visit to your fine city.
Firstly, my deepest appreciation to AVI for having brought me down there and a HUGE to both him and his lovely wife, Laurie, for their wonderful and abundantly generous hospitality. Avi showed me some truly magnificent and beautiful sights that is the envy of the world.
And what can I say about Ev (Wantone)? He is the master of organization. It was a thrill to finally meet you in person after years of conversing by PM and on the forum. He is a warm human being, intelligent and articulate - a distinct pleasure to be around - a gentleman among men. You guys are indeed fortunate to have him in your midst.
To all who came out - what a delight and honor it was to meet you and to get to attach faces to the forum names I've seen. I am humbled by your welcoming spirit and genuine enthusiasm for this car and its owners. To drive with you in that remarkable landscape was a thrill.
And to Asura and Davepk - a hearty thanks to you for coming all the way to Mill Valley to have dinner with me. Avi was right. You fellas are the BEST! Asura, your car is a BEAST! Thanks for letting me take it for a spin. I think in time, my eyeballs will go back to where they once were.
To Yogi and the admins of this site - your presentation of a gift certificate was a most thoughtful and kind gesture - I am most appreciative.
Of course, even though she's not officially with the Bay Area folks, Gina (vtecmom) gets a special for coming all that way to join us in our get together.
Take care of yourselves and your great city so that I may enjoy all of it again some day.
-Dave.

xviper, it was great meeting you. I'm glad you have a great stay in town. Again thanks for sharing your S2K knowledge with us. Come visit more often, maybe you would consider moving down here with us since this is a great place to have S2K.
