Best shop for valve adjustment near Berkeley
Hi guys. I just bought a 2004 S2000 with ~62k and I think it might be time for a valve adjustment. Does anyone know of any reputable shops near Berkeley? Thanks.

A closer option would be Joey in SSF. You can get there in about 30 minutes.

LOL, don't be silly.
You know its quicker to go from Berkeley to SSF compared to Berkeley to Milpitas.
I'd happily pay a bridge toll just to avoid being on 880 for 35 miles.
Both are great shops, just in different locations.

I actually cross the Bay Bridge every day, so I know very well how long it can take at times to get through the maze and the toll plaza, so when I say it isn't necessarily any quicker, I'm hardly being silly. Besides, anyone coming from Berkeley would also have the option to take 13 to 580 to 880. This is the route I would likely take.

I should clarify that prime time to visit Joey's shop is after 8-9PM on the decided-upon weekday evening.
The toll plaza is not an issue at all at this time.
Been making that commute for 1.5 years in the time-frame mentioned above, and have never had an issue once.

. I guess if he wants to go over there in the time frame you mentioned, he is golden.
