Bit off topic but my car has about 1400 miles on it, should I just get an oil change now? or wait til 3k?

i would wait. the car has additives to break in the new engine. they say you arent supposed to change the oil for at least 3-5k

dun't you think 5k is a lil high for factory fill on a brand spanking new engine 5k may be bad on the factory fill as there are casting and break-in materials inside of the engine, and floating in the oil. I've always changed early...real early, and never had a problem.
