Default Best place to find used S2K in BA

I am trying to find an S2K for my next car.

Where are you guys finding them? I am on Craigslist 24/7, but there must be somewhere I can find a white one for less than 10K in the bay.

Is that reasonable?

There's also autotrader and cars.com. It'll be hard to find a white at that price range even high mileage. Well, it's hard to find a white in general actually.

yup, hard to find a white one in general. Check the For sale section on s2ki also.

craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, ebay I guess *shrug* your options are going to be limited at the under 10k mark, so I'd say unreasonable unless you get lucky.

Thanks for the tips. I am willing to settle for a high mileage non-white one.

Is there a shop I can trust to do a sort of pre-purchase inspection around the bay?

Acura Honda Connection will be a good shop for pre-purchase inspections. The name says it all.

Hell, they even have an s2000 on their webpage.

Going to buy an S tomorrow morning in San Diego lol. I've been searching for a white one for the last month and came up with nothing. I was looking for 10k or less with high or evenly a remotely low chance of it having low miles. But I bumped my budget to 12k or less and found a grey one in SD. It's not a bright color like I would loved it to be, but I do favor grey over black any day. White>Red>Blue>Yellow>Grey>Silver>Black.

your gonna have a hard time finding a white one in general, took me about 4months to find mine and i doubt you will get one under 10k unless its salvage title/bad condition/high mileage)

Not the Bay, but:

White is definitely one of the rarer colors. I'm not even actively looking for one locally just because I don't have the patience. But if I stumble upon one, it's mine!

Does this belong to someone on the forum?:

Nice looking car...but obviously way more than $10k. Not sure I'd pay that much for '00 AP1, but definitely digging the hardtop and exhaust..I want that!
