Default Best place to buy ski/snowboard gear locally

Anyone know of a good place to go in South Bay for ski/snowboard clothing gear. Since I'm Korean, I'm looking for the cheapest place to buy quality stuff.

Tri City in Fremont if they have anything left. They had pretty nice discounts on items as part of their going out of business sale.

Otherwise Mel Cotton has decent gear but costs more.

TriCity is just about closed, I went there a couple of weeks ago and just the store itself was left for sale (shelves, signs, light bulbs, etc.).

Look for sales at 'Any Mountain'.

If you have any desire to be good/comfortable/durable, don't buy bottom of the barrel gear. it's just not worth it. Best time to buy gear is after the season you'll get great deals. 40%+ off. Before the season isn't bad either.

Good gear lasts a while if you go alot...and good gear makes a HUGE difference in performance in both the mountain and the park. Doesn't mean you need to spend uber $$$ on gear but buy smart, get the gear that gives you the best value. Don't buy the cheapest stuff, it will hurt you.

Bunch of places to look at to see which has the stuff you want on sale. Tricity used to be the best but it's gone now.

with the baby blue S2000 driver. Spend a few extra bucks and buy good gear. Decent boards tend to retail between $350-$500, bindings between $100 and $160, and boots between $130-$200. Of course actual cost will be lower with discounts.

Buy a good set of boots and bindings. Board is not as important. Also, get quality socks, you're on your feet all day. Hit up Sportmart, they had 25% off last week.

Jacket 60-70
Pants 60-70 Waterproof a must. Get good brands like Columbia, North Face, etc.
Gloves 15-30
Socks 2-10
Boots 100 Get old fashioned lace up boots. The new ones are easy to use and nice, but aren't as sturdy.
Bindings 50-70
Board 100-150
