They should just drop the premise of safety altogether and put a little tip jar with the words "BUDGET CRISIS" written on it. I've noticed an increased porcine presence on a lot of Bay Area freeways in the last month or so.

I read in the paper today that actually, there was no need to pull over people who were going over 65 mph. The area the CHP was patrolling (between CA and NV) had an abundance of people going 75 mph and over.

Additionally, this isn't going to be something that's done every single day. According to the paper, they are just going to start calling "safety days" and patrol on those days for speeders much more diligently than on other days.
