Looks like the state is trying to make money from motorists to make up for the state budget crisis.

 

That was the first thought that came to my mind, too.

 

Damn I better get my stuff calibrated.

 

If they want to reduce crashes on that ridiculous highway they should keep the idiots out of the left lane so the faster cars don't have to change lanes so much to go anywhere. I've never seen a highway so bad where people just love the left lane. I go faster in the far right lane. They should have an initiative to pull over the left lane bandits.
