Let me know if any of you guys want a copy of "Turbo sounds" CD. I just bump up my treble and roll my windows down.

Everyone thinks I have a turbo.

Good luck with your project!

Thanks!! I'm pretty well rounded in the boost game, so i'll be doing everything right the first time, unless the 2871R doesn't make enough power as it will probly be getting maxed out. I'm sure the spool time will be short= traction loss Hope to see you guys on the road

Pretty manifold.

Why didn't you opt for a GT35R...it seems pretty popular.

Oh, btw, Have you considered fitment issues with the full race mani?

I assume you will relocated the battery to the trunk. Any idea how difficult it is after that? I believe V2 of the full-race mani is supposed to be easier to install at home. But you still have to bend the crap out of the AC line.

What are you planning for the rest of the kit?

I'm about to delve into something similar...going back and forth between the full-race and inline kit.

Yea I was just going to say Henry (blacktrax) is the only local guy I know that has a turbo kit (he's got a 06 Laguna Blue) and it's pretty clean! Saw it at JDM Theory show a while back....

I'm boosted but decided to go with the CTSC. If you need turbo help though I'm pretty familiar with these things from my Eclipse days so let me know....I'd love to see your final results as I'm not a true believer of turbo's in s2000's yet.

late,

I didn't go for the 35R only because i HAD the 2871R and figured i want quicker spool than more HP per psi. The 2871 i have is T3 and will go til about 400hp so it should be fine for my current goals, but onc ei build the engine i'll be looking for bigger and better things.

I'm not worried about re-locating the battery or oil filter since my buddy and i do fabrication and can make brackets/lines/ etc. however i'll be using a smaller battery and just locate it to the air box location.

The rest of the kit will contain a Tial 44mm wastegate and custom dumptube, 3" DP with custom test pipe to J's Racing 70RS single exit, custom intercooler piping Evo8 intercooler and i think that's it for now, besides a Turbo XS dual stage MBC. think that's it for now.

Thanks for taking interest in my project.

We built my 300whp 252tq SOHC and it held up for over a year, now the block is sleeved and about to see 28psi and 400whp built top to bottom.

I've been into boost for quite some time now, so i know alot, but not everything, i look forward to getting some extra knowledge here and also hope to help some of you if you have any questions.
