Default bay area s2000 mechanics

search for bay area mechanics hasn't really come up with anything...where do you guys take your cars? or is the s2000 easy enough to work on that any dealer/mechanic is okay?

i do mostly all the work myself. it really isn't hard at all if you know what you're doing.

you can also try Menlo honda. so far everyone thinks it's one of the better places to take there car to.

nothing in particular...just routine maint. i'm just a a little paranoid about letting dealerships work on my car. i'm paranoid because with the rx7 it was a big no no to let dealers work on your car. most dealer mechanics never worked on them before, so they dont know enough about them and instead of finding a minor problem they end up recommending getting a new turbo or something ridiculous. so i'm looking for a mechanic/shop that regularly works on S2000...

Menlo Honda is great. But if you're looking for routine maint. like oil change or flushing your brake fluid... I know a mechanic in SF - he's good. A couple of the s2ki guys have met him.

Oil change for our car is cake if you have the right tools...

cool, send me his info...probably just let my current mechanic work on the s2ki, but sf is closer than sunnyvale, so maybe i'll give him a try.
