First, cool of you to offer your pad. I won't be making it (vacation).
Just for a drive idea, you could do the reverse of the SACS2KDAYS drive:
From South Lake Tahoe, we took 88 to 49, 49 to 16, 16 back to Elk Grove on county roads.
Then again, methinks you know a few of the roads back there.

Yo Carlos...how about a meet the first week of August? So its not too early and that gives time for everyone to plan things out. We need to plan a all day event.
This is just an idea so here it goes....
Meet up at a driving range to hit some golf balls, then a drive to Santa Cruz by taking Highway 9. Then take some money shots at Santa Cruz, chill there for a while and then head back to SJ and perhaps have a BBQ at Vasona Park or at Lake Cunningham.
Maybe we can have dent day with this "Bay Area Meet."
How does this sound? As for the driving range, I use to be the manager of Pin High Golf Center for about 3 years. I can get all of us a good deal for a bucket of balls. BUT thats only if you guys are interested. They can rent clubs out for free too. But don't expect any R7s, 5 series, etc... clubs. The rentals are all cheap-o's. Or you can bring your own clubs.

i believe Dave is planning the tahoe drive around the 2nd weekend in August.
maybe if there is nothing going on in July, or September, this could work out.
too bad your not making it out for the Napa drive, ill try to take some good pics, have fun today if you go to the giants game.
