Default Bay Area/CA Road Guides

So, those who went on the Harris Ranch/CA-25 Drive had a lot of fun on CA-25. I pretty much got the report on that road from Pashnit.com.

Well, Tim (the owner of Pasnit.com) got smart and started making his CA road guide a pay site. Pooh.

Go ahead and post your road reccommendations/road reviews here.

So, yeah, we did the following ride:

US-101 S to CA-156 to CA-25 S to CA-198 E to Coalinga.

Driving CA-25 at speed is 70 miles of pure driving bliss. Fast Straights, fast sweepers, twisties, and blind crest turns, and only 4 cars aside from the groups on the whole stretch of CA-25.

CA-198 was also fun. Aside from residual dust from the slides, this road was fast, but still twisty. Like CA-17 but with A LOT FEWER cars.

i'm always a fan of saratoga hwy 9 -> 35 (skyline) -> half moon bay (92?) -> back on 280S. tight turns on 9, fast sweepers and straights on 35.

Make that two. I live like only 3 miles away from the base of hwy 9.

Too crowded and too many cops, especially on the weekends.

It's only $20 for the year to access the California roads. Maybe we can all chip in for year subscription, and print out all the Cali maps for future reference. Whatch'all think?
