Not really, I only showed him that he just hasn't come across anyone yet and not that it's because there isn't anyone. There's always someone faster, never assume that just because you haven't seen them that they're not there.

Not in the Bay Area but not that far away is one of the greatest roads I have driven...Route 395. It runs all the way along the Ca/Nevada border. Start up at Tahoe and drive down to Death Valley - 7,000 feet above sea level to 400 below sea level in one day. Stunning views and an absolute blast to drive.

yes, depending on the day, there is a lot of traffic and or cyclists...

too many times to count although it's been a little while since the last trip. It has it's good sections and bad sections, if you drive it later in the day in the summer you won't see many riders as it'll be too hot for them.
