y'all never lived in china...those rules seem like guidelines there...though i admit that they DO use their turn signals as an indication that they are coming into your lane, like it or not.

You forgot the rule about it being perfectly acceptable to use the carpool lane during rush hours - even if you're the only person in the car (and you don't have a hybrid).
The other rule is that you must tailgate the cars that are legally driving in the carpool lane and already keeping up with the flow of traffic.
