At 9000rpm... you had 150 cranskshaft rotations a second... multiply by 20 seconds and the valve hit the piston 3000 times. Only problem is it only has to hit once.

it stayed in 2nd gear not more then 3-4 sec
so its enought to jack ur engine like this

actually what i want to do is , i ll get an used engine , and keep this and rebuilt , with this way i ll be able to know the whole engine

Reving an F20C motor toward the end of 3rd gear (86.5 mph @ 8,500 engine rev's,) then subsequently shift into 2nd gear will mechanically bring the engine rev's up to about 11,750 rpm's.


I dun know of any production car that spins up to 12k rpm's

8500rpm to 2nd gear should pop slightly past 9000 rpm. You have ap1 right? You can sustain past 9000rpm don't know why it blew.

i dont think a gear changes just 500 , mose likely +2500,3000

Total gearing in second gear: 9.72602
Maximum speed in second gear: 65.6 mph


Total gearing in third gear:7.043636
Maximum speed in third gear: 90.6 mph


so the thing is when i was arround 80 maybe more i dont remember
i shifted to 2nd , do you thing that 9000 ?

65mph = 9000 AP1
