Its really the Spa/Rio Yellows that you really cant match. I would bet there isnt one shop in the Bay Area that can match a 1-5 year faded Spa Yellow Pearl.
The only guy I know that can match it perfectly was George at JNS Auto in Hawaii. But he spent 24 hours trying to match the Spa and finally did it. I dont think any shop would spend that much time trying to match it. It would be like $1000+ for labor alone to just match the color so most of the shops try their best and come kinda close, but wont match it perfectly.
Silver, black, white, red, etc he does fine.
Mr. Mack,
He told me about those other two Spas in the parking lot when you were there. He didnt paint any of them. They came that way to him from other shops. So he was trying to do a better job on them that the other bodyshops left looking like ass.
FYI, he did a good job with my Spa Yellow. It was just a little off but a lot better than any of the 8 other shops I went to in the Bay Area and San Diego.
