my intention of this post had nothing to do with a membership and a right to post a sale thread as a guest. Voo was the one that brought it up and it's a related matter so i added it onto my point.

The Most Important matter is that there are too many FS/WTB threads. Actually, let me restate that... There are A LOT OF whoring going on in BA forum and I believe there is nothing wrong with that. IMO, it makes this forum more active and brings the BA members closer. Due to all these whoring business, FS/WTB threads drop down to bottom of the page and No one seems to even care about who's selling what.

Just because the system insists one to buy a membership, does one really have to? if you are not a member, sell your $hit on CL or Ebay. No one told you not to. The main focus IS to create a sub-forum for sale/wtb threads and it will create a less traffic for sellers and buyers.

 

For what its worth, I agree with problem child...
There should be a Market Place (Forum) for those that are looking to buy or sell... It would make it a lot more friendlier and one wouldn't have to scroll through un-relevant threads when looking for an interesting sale... For that matter there should be a Saloon (Forum) for those that want to whore around and just kick it and chat about girlfriends/boyfriends and what the dog did to the cat...

But then again its only my two bits...

 

It appears that the powers-that-be are taking a step towards a classifieds section. If it works for us in the Area, mensching about this thread could be moot.

Ummm....there was one until several days ago, but I'll leave that one alone.

 

That is the main reason why at this point we don't have a FS sub forum. All requests for FS sub forums have been put on hold until after the launch of the new classified system. I've been told that this will help with regional FS stuff, but I will reserve judgement until it has been rolled out and I can see what help it offers the regional forums.
