Asymmetric tire question...

i'm glad you brought this up. i was wondering the same thing. i just ordered a set of bridgestone re050A pole positions and was suprised to see that the design was assymetric. I called up tirerack to confirm whether or not there was a specific left/right side and they said no. i find it a little awkward since the OEM RE050 tires are left/right specific but these supposed "premium" re050A's are not.
any more input on performance, wear, and driveability? either way, i have to put the tires on so i'll see for myself, but curious to read other's experiences
