Christine are you interested in joining us?
Sherwin has done so much for the s2ki community. There are many people that have encountered his warm personality and giving nature. Honest, decent and trustworthy people are unfortunately exceptions in this day and age.

Asura, I don't know if I can. That's the weekend of my anniversary...
Post all the details once it's final and I'll see what can be done. Once things are final, you should have more people signing up for such a good cause

What type of Leukemia does he have? Take it from someone who was diagnosed with leukemia and fought it over 6 years ago. Lots of love and support from family and friends will be necessary.
I think it's great that people are trying to do what they can to help. Blood donations are always extremely appreciated regardless of who it goes to.
As for Sherwin, please remember to not lose hope. Regardless of what medical articles you might be reading or the different patients who you will be meeting along the way in the hospital, just remember that you yourself are a fighter and survivor and you will! During my time in the hospital I met many other people with leukemia, and some were strong while others always seemed weak. I know it's hard to deal with the medications to treat the cancer, as well as the factors of the side effects caused by those medications, but being strong will take you through this. I, personally did not bother to research about this subject when I was going through it, because I figured "what I don't know won't hurt me." On the other hand, knowledge is power, so whatever you do, just stay strong, and don't let ANY pessimism, statistics scare you.
Keep us updated. Much love.

I'll check with Bryson and see what plans he's made for our anniversary so far... and if we'll be able to squeeze the blood drive in.
I hope you will get a lot of people joining you!
