They'd better start going after the Domestics and their Flowmaster systems as well. Illegally modified exhausts...pffftt.

You just know they're gonna ticket stock S2000's anyway. Between the HID lights and the relatively loud engine, I don't think most of the officers are going to know what's stock and what's not.

Btw these people ought to take a stats course:

The program seems to be working. Until recently, no statistics had been kept in California for deaths and injuries related to street racing, Byrd said. But in 2002, he counted 14 deaths and 31 injuries in San Diego County.

As of December 2003, there were four deaths and six injuries for the year.

"So we are way down," he said.
That's a sample size of a whole two years, WOW!!!

out of all the things they could be doing, they go after "street racers", wtf? Have they noticed the increase in the amount of drugs in our public schools ? or the amount of home robberies? This is total BS. Why is it that they go after imports or car lovers when most of the "my son killed himself" stories have been about drunk people and or drugged up people. Do you know how many people own guns in the state? Does that mean they're gonna go out and use it ever chance they get? F&F hype is old and gone, they need to move on.
